Liam Neeson is horribly disfigured following a vicious, unprovoked attack orchestrated by a rent-a-mobster lowlife. In attempting to formulate a cure for his shockingly mutilated appearance, Peyton Westlake develops super-human powers; a radical transformation he embraces as the 'Darkman'. Being a superhero of the shadowy persuasion, Peyton's newfound abilities hold him in good stead for avenging his tragic circumstances.

Ocean Software's multi-system, licensed mini-game montage of the same name - published in 1991 - unsurprisingly capitalises on the action elements of Sam Raimi's movie. It incorporates mostly platforming stages, interspersed with several camera targeting and helicopter-swinging interludes.
